    4lb closer to my goal!!

    Well, after being 8 stone for many years, I managed to stack on 2 stone over the course of a year by not exercising and basically living on junk food.

    I decided this week that I would kickstart a fresh start filled with exercise and healthy eating so that I would be a healthier person (quitting smoking will be next!!!)

    Jumped on the scales today after 4 days and I have lost 4lb!!  I have not overdone anything, I eat a hearty breakfast with fresh juice and fresh fruit, wheetabix and skimmed milk.  Baked potato with pasta and salad for lunch and normally chicken or fish with veg and either rice or potatoes for dinner.  I snack on fruit and at least 2L of water a day and normally a diet coke or two.  Exercise wise I have been doing 20 sit ups, 20 stomach crunches, once a day.  I have also been walking an hour or so along the beach and the result 4lb weight loss!!!

    Can't weight for the end of the week, hope I don't blow it all by getting drunk at the weekend as alcohol is so fattening and junk food is a great hangover cure!!

    Heres hoping as summer nears, I grow into a  healthier, fitter person!!
